Los Angeles-based jewelry house Pennyroyal Silver has announced its second signature collection collaboration with pop star Adam Lambert. Using Lambert's infinity tattoo as inspiration, Pennyroyal Silver has designed a new pendant to benefit DonorsChoose.org, an online charity for students in need. Earlier this year, their collaboration has raised $60,000 for charity.
Creative designer and founder of Pennywort Silver, Tim Foster is a music industry veteran-turned jewelry designer whose designs and creative process are largely inspired by music. He specializes mostly in limited edition and custom designs created in solid sterling silver.
In the year 2009, Lambert collaborated with Foster by donating a sketch of his Eye of Horus tattoo which raised over $30,000 for MusiCares in just 7 days.
For their second collaboration, Lambert chose his infinity tattoo as inspiration for his new pendant, "My infinity tattoo really represents what life is like for me at this stage. It is all about energy and the energy I get from my fans. When I am onstage and the fans feed me their enthusiastic energy, I am able to feed off of it and give it right back to them...it's all about the energy flow."

Following the success of Adam Lambert’s “Eye of Horus” Pendant, the fine hand-crafted Jeweler, PENNYROYAL SILVER has just launched its second Adam Lambert’s Signature Collections. Designed based on the Adam’s tattoo on his wrist – “Infinity”, the pendant was completely hand carved and is available online starting September 25th to October 31st, 2010. Offered only US $95.00, 30% of the proceeds goes directly to DONORSCHOOSE – a US based nonprofit organization that provides a way for people to donate directly to specific projects at public schools (sometimes known as peer-to-peer philanthrophy).
The singer Adam Lambert has acheived mainstream success since being a finalist on American Idol, and now he is a bonafide star who has an worldwide fan base to prove it. One of the most impressive things about Lambert, apart from his talent, is the fact that he is constantly looking for ways to give back, and has successfully done so with Donors Choose through such programs as Glam-A-Classroom. A few months ago, Lambert got a new tattoo -- an infinity symbol. To help raise more money, he worked with a company to release infinity pendants, and the results have been posted, over 1,000 were sold.
