- It's one of those weeks where there's little upward momentum at the top of the American Idol airplay chart, and all the action is in the middle. While Carrie Underwood's Undo It remains the most-played Idol track, according to Mediabase, it falls from No. 1 to No. 5 on USA TODAY's Country chart. The singles immediately beneath Undo It, including Fantasia's Bittersweet, have peaked as well. All the songs in the Top 10 this week were in the Top 10 last week, though Adam Lambert's If I Had You and Daughtry's September have switched places. (If I Had You, by the way, also moves to No. 39 on the Hot AC chart.)
Further down the chart, Kris Allen and Kellie Pickler see small gains with their latest, and Danny Gokey gets more than 100 addition spins for I Will Not Say Goodbye, currently at No. 39 Country. Chris Sligh picks up four spots on the Idol chart for OnlyYou Can Save and even more on the Christian AC chart, where he moves from No. 39 to No. 33. And while David Archuleta has yet to break the top 40 at any format, he does get a few Top 40 adds Something 'Bout Love, moving it from No. 71 to No. 54 on the Idol airplay chart.
