Adam Lambert faces off with 'drag queens' in Michigan

The "American Idol" singer is in the state for a series of concerts at the Glam Nation Tour, but he ran into an unexpected obstacle.

Adam announced the news in a new post on his Twitter account:

"In a cab at mcdonalds after being chased down the street by drag queens. Lansing is adventure!"

Adam has talked repeatedly in interviews about the joy involved in most of his fan encounters -- some of them want pictures, others autographs, and there are even the occasional one who hands out gifts.

However, most fans are generally polite enough to not chase after the singer at full speed. The positive thing about all of this? Rather than complaining about the extra attention from these "drag queens", Adam seems to be having a pretty good time with it.
