- Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me holds the narrowest of edges on Carrie Underwood's Undo It on USA TODAY'S American Idol airplay chart this week. According to Mediabase, the difference separating the two singles is fewer than 50 spins out of more than 7,500.
Adam also moves onto USA TODAY's Top 40 chart this week, as If I Had You breaks in at No. 36.
On the Urban chart, Fantasia moves into the top 20 with Bittersweet, and she remains in the top 10 of the Urban AC chart, as well. At Hot AC, Daughtry's September moves up from No. 26-No. 22, and Kris Allen's The Truth climbs from No. 29-No. 27.
Meanwhile, down in the lower rungs of the Idol airplay chart, a couple of singles make their first appearances. Allison Iraheta's Don't Waste the Pretty comes in at No. 83, thanks in large part of Top 40 station Mix 107.9 (KUDD-FM) in Salt Lake City, Utah, adding the record. And Bo Bice's You Take Yourself With You gets enough spins from 107.9 The Duke (WOGT-FM) in Chattanooga, Tenn., and a few other country stations to land at No. 88. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2010/06/adam-lambert-holds-onto-top-idol-airplay-spot/1 | |
