Adam Lambert Day' celebrates its one-year anniversary

So how did this start? "Adam Lambert Day" was originally declared by the mayor of San Diego last year, when he returned to his hometown for a taped package before the "American Idol" finale. There were massive crowds of people out to support him, and he conducted some of his first major interviews with a local TV and radio station (and even tried to read a weather report).

Now, the holiday is carrying on with Adam's loyal fans. "Adam Lambert Day" has been a trending topic on Twitter for a good portion of Saturday, though a number of other pop stars (such as Disney Channel phenom Selena Gomez) are staging their own "celebrations" as well.
