Adam Lambert Arrives For ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ Taping Neonlimelight - Quote :
- After Adam Lambert wowed the crowd (in more ways than one) at the American Music Awards last night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, he took a flight out to New York City where he would gear up for his appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Word is Lambert will be performing “Whataya Want From Me” from his new album, For Your Entertainment, which hit stores today (November 23).
He was snapped arriving for the appearance this afternoon. With the performance being taped ahead of the broadcast, there’s no chance of any overly racy acts making it on TV. Maybe this time we’ll actually get a chance to focus on Adam’s amazing voice instead of the shock and awe tactics. Adam Lambert performs 'Whataya Want From Me' on Letterman's show. World does not end. L.A.TIMES BLOG - Quote :
Adam Lambert's performance on David Letterman's show, sans any sit-down interview, couldn't have been scripted more perfectly to flow gently out of the week's American Music Awards controversy
Singing "Whataya Want From Me?," the tune he also did on "The Early Show" on Wednesday morning, Adam took it down to his rocker essentials -- the band, the leather pants, the lyrics, the makeup, the voice.
Call the Ministry a mushy Pollyanna, but to us the words of the song sound more like a young person trying to figure things out than any provocative diatribe from a political-statement-making, standard-bearing lightning rod. | |
