may now have an early 2015 release date

The Queen + AL tour schedule is growing and might cause a delay in the release of his new LP
Adam Lambert's third album has been a talking point among fans and critics since the release of his acclaimed Trespassing album in 2012. But while originally slated for a 2014 release, it now looks like the LP may be delayed until early 2015 to accommodate the huge success of his tour with Queen.

Adam had previously said of a 2014 release date for his new album: "In theory, yes. If not, something is seriously wrong!"

But the unprecedented success of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour across North America has caused Roger, Brian and Adam to extend the run of dates. What was initially just a handful of live dates across the United States and Canada has now grown to include dates in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. And Brian May said there will likely be more throughout Europe and the United more on Click Music

The North American Tour has come to a close and audiences all over the United States are reeling back from the over powering delivery of Queen and Adam Lambert. Audiences are talking about this tour up in Canada too where the band did shows in Ontario and Toronto.  I read where guitarist Brian May said he wanted to hit the arenas, “one more time” and I really took this as the final tour. But you should by now dear fans that rock and roll never truly dies. The show must go on and it has….. oh it has.

Adam Lambert, from American Idol, has stepped up to the plate and grabbed the helm as lead front vocalist. The songs were reworked into modern rock classics. He put new life into, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Killer Queen”, “Somebody To Love”, “Another One Bites The Dust” and “We Will Rock You” and audiences were eating it up. People wanted more. Then on July 30, 2014 Brian May announces that not only will the band continue in an Australian leg of the tour but will take on New Zealand and Asia. There is talk about taking the tour back to England for a grand finale. But other sources have hinted that the tour might even return to the United States for a special encore more on Hotmetrofinds

When it Comes to Reviews, Bad = Bad Ass!

................In fact, two journalists in very reputable newspapers trashed them after their amazing show with Adam Lambert. One was so off the money,  I was tempted to write a “Letter to the Editor” about his bad review.

“Go get ‘em, Tiger!” my husband said to me. Though after a little research, I realized the journalist was around my age and a musician himself — a good one at that. I re-read the article and though I disagreed with him saying Brian May had a bad voice and his guitar solo was too long, I realized the dude was all about Freddie Mercury, and I’m okay with that. I couldn’t bring myself to trash a fellow middle-aged journalist and Freddie lover. However, his bad review inspired me to visit Google search and give the “thumbs up” for every excellent review I could find about the Queen + Adam Lambert world the full article
